The four-stroke mates to a four-speed gearbox and the CC 110 sips from a gas tank. Retailing for ¥341,000 $3,118 USD, the Cross Cub features Camouflage Green, Pearl Shining Yellow, and Classical White colorways. The Graphite Black version commands a ¥352,000 $3,218 USD price tag, however. With a seat height and 234-pound wet weight, the CC 110 suits riders of all sizes and skill levels. The tail rack, dual-sport tires, and slotted exhaust shield align with the vintage off-roader aesthetic, even if riders never really take it to the dirt. Since its 2018 introduction, the Cross Cub hasn’t seen many updates, but Honda equipped the minimoto with a new tail lamp in 2020 to comply with Japan’s new road regulations. The new Puko Blue color will only grace 2,000 CC 110 units. Despite the exclusivity, Honda will retain the ¥341,000 $3,118 USD MSRP found on the base model. On April 14, 2022, the updated Cross Cub 110 first rolled into the public eye, hot on the heels of its cuddly bear of a Super Cub sibling. The new Honda Cross Cub comes in both 50cc and 110cc versions, each to suit your particular needs. Back in 2021, Honda made a splash in Japan with a limited edition Puko Blue livery for its Cross Cub 110 line, but now that color joins the lineup on the new Cross Cub 110 as a regular option. Another classic favorite Honda special-edition livery is back as a regular option for both the Cross Cub 50 and the Cross Cub 110, as well. Cross Cub 50 comes in your choice of Camouflage Green, Classic White, or the Graphite Black Kumamon Edition. Meanwhile, the Cross Cub 110 comes in Matt Armored Green Metallic, Pearl Deep Mud Grey, Puco Blue, or the Kumamon-edition Graphite Black. Prices start at ¥297,000 about $2,278 for the base CC50 and range up to ¥374,000 about $2,869 for the Kumamon Edition CC110. For the moment, these Cross Cubs have only been announced for the Japanese market. New for 2023, a full lineup of custom parts cater to many use cases, from bags to racks, mufflers, windshields, and even a floating brake rotor, these builds can serve as a template or inspiration for you. The Cross Cub gets a windscreen as well as a windshield for the rider’s lower extremities. Hand guards were also fitted, in a bid to fully cover the rider on colder rides out. There is even a special seat for this model, a cushioned seat cover that’s said to enhance rider comfort on the saddle. Last but not least, a muffler did in a scrambler style with two silencers that add to the adventurous look of the Cross Cub 110. The pair of bikes are both interesting and fun in concept. Honda’s 110cc underbones have a fun aesthetic and appeal to them, and SP Takegawa illustrates that they’re also fun to toy around with and customize.
